Roles and Responsibilities: The Release/Deployment Engineer applies excellent technical skills, within an existing framework of configuration management, tools, processes, strategies, and standards, to provide build and deployment services across all life cycle environments, including development, test, and production. The Release/Deployment Engineer will possess the ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined SCM policies and practices to identify and implement methods, techniques, and tools that will provide a robust build and deployment infrastructure for enterprise applications. The key for success in this position is that the person needs to be able to build, package, and deploy complex J2EE applications in a WebSphere environment including identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of deployment issues.

Major Responsibilities:
" Work with support teams to develop, implement and support automated solutions for deployment of enterprise applications.
" Create and maintain documentation related to the deployment process and functional dependencies with various system components.
" Support build tools in a continuous integration environment.
" Additional CM related duties as assigned.
Required Education Experience:
" Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or related field.
" Minimum 5-7 years of IT experience, 2-3 years in software configuration management.
" Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.
" Experience in shell script development (ANT, Python, Perl)
" Experience deploying J2EE application in both WebSphere and Tomcat.
" Experience using and administering process driven Enterprise Software Configuration Management tools such as MKS, ClearCase, Subversion....
Preferred Experience:
