Title: Sr. Flash Developer
Location: Glendale, CA
Length: 9-15 month contract
Bill Rate: Between $37.00 - $40.00/hour
Communication: MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Job Description:
Must have 5+ years experience with Flash/ActionScript design and development
Must have extensive XML data integration experience, (working knowledge of Flash Remoting, Flash Media Server, web services and other server-side technologies is a plus)
Must be a master of motion design, capable of leading interactive designers with highly developed Flash skills to bring success to design.
Must have expert knowledge of ActionScript 2.0, ActionScript 3.0 and OO based programming.
Must be talented with 2D, 3D, audio and video software tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator.
Must be adept with web script such as JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML, character sets and international design standards.
Must have the ability to communicate Flash's technical and creative prowess, developing team relations that foster both learning and excellence.
Must be a leader in pushing Flash media though the creative process - driving the balance of look & feel and rhythm & timing to create advancements in interactivity.
Must stimulate knowledge-sharing and the use of best practices.
Must maintain high standards for coding and control quality throughout all aspects of Flash development and implementation.
Must be a reliable problem-solver for scripting, performance and optimization.
Must collaborate closely with visual design, media production and web development to ensure that concepts translate into high-level results that meet and exceed requirements.
Must track competitive work and recommend new design/development strategies to ensure market leadership
Must maintain familiarity with industry trends and anticipate/recommend design shifts to improve our service offerings. Help train and grow Flash designers
